Autumn Harvest
Concord grapes, Sweet cider and light summer honey

Ingredients:
- 6 lb. light honey
- 15 lb. concord grapes
- 2 gallons water
- Lalvin D-47 yeast
Heat 1 gallon water too 120F, turn off heat, add honey stirring to dissolve.
cool and add to the rest of the water in primary fermenter, add crushed grapes
and active yeast starter. Rack and press grape skins in 5 to 7 days.
Starting sg. 1.075
After the grape skins are removed, put 3 gallons of the fermenting grape mead
in a 6 gallon carboy. mix and add the following.
3 lb. light honey
1 quart water
2½ gallons fresh sweet cider
target sg. of cider honey and water 1.075
Sep. 19, 2009 - Press grape skins and discard,
mix & add part 2 in a 6 gal. carboy
Nov. 01, 2009 - Racked too 5 gal. carboy sg. - 1.000.
