Easy Braggot
A simple basic braggot recipe

Bottle date: April 29 2004
5 gallon batch
Ingredients:
- 3.3 lb. light malt extract (Muntons LME)
- 5 lb. wild flower honey
- 1 packet ale yeast (Danstar Windsor)
Heat 2 gallons water too boiling, add liquid malt extract stirring to dissolve.
boil slowly for 30 min. remove from heat cool to around 150F mix in honey. cool
, add water too 5 gallons (about 2.5 more gallons), add active yeast starter when
temperature is 85F or below. Rack after 2 week. Keep in secondary for 2 weeks. When
clear prime with 3/4 cup honey boiled in 1 cup water and bottle.
